Greetings! My name is Adam Kurzfeld. I am a massage therapist. I am a yogi. I am a musician. I am a father and I am a lifetime student. I am passionate and grateful for this healing path, all my teachers, all my clients (who are my teachers as well), and my family and children. Circle Within relates to the the life force inside us (energy, prana, chi) that flows in cycles, circles, and circuits. Through the many circumstances of life and general disconnectedness of western culture, most of us need some serious rewiring. My mission is to help others heal and appreciate themselves. I am here for you.
My massage career really began as a child. Growing up with parents that were healers, they passed their skills and knowledge on to me very early on. I grew up doing massage, energy work, and chiropractic adjustments whenever friends and family needed healing. I completed my first certification program in July 2007. Since then I have done further studies in CranioSacral Therapy, Pre/Post natal massage, infant massage, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, and Transformational Bodywork.
My bodywork sessions generally begin with some Shiatsu, moving to oilination and swedish/deep tissue, and complete with the deep stillness of craniosacral work. Often times I treat chronic issues (such as TMJ Syndrome, Migraines, CNS disorders, chronic neck and back pain, etc.) with CranioSacral Therapy. For more info on CST click here. For those of you that want to dive deeper into self care and nutrition, I also offer Ayurvedic health consultations. Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to health and living in balance. Regular bodywork is an incredible way to enhance your experience of life, helping to bring things into balance and harmony. I strongly recommend it, even when you are already feeling good, why not use it as a delicious form of preventative medicine and self care.
From 2009 to 2020 I also taught yoga full time. I am a strong believer that movement and stillness are both necessary for optimal health. Yoga brings us both. I teach vinyasa classes which are physically challenging, safe, and give space for stillness and meditation. My earliest passion is music and I love to weave some sounding into my classes and workshops as well. I feel extremely fortunate to have found yoga early in my life and love bringing this ancient art to others. No matter circumstances, a dedicated yoga practice will transform your life from the inside.
Additionally, I am currently attending Yo San University in Los Angeles for Acupuncture School with a focus in family health and wellness. I hope to graduate by 2026, as I am also a father of 2 kiddos under three years old ;) This journey has been amazing so far and I am thoroughly enjoying incorporating these new concepts and practices into my personal and professional practice.
I have found that through mending my inner circle, I suddenly feel connected to life itself. I feel we are a part of a much greater whole, a much larger circle. By knowing and healing ourselves, we have agency to do what we are really here to do. Thrive. I am here to support you!
